Cosfibel Produces Paco Rabanne Christmas Coffrets

Paco Rabanne relied on Tepor’s technical expertise and Cosfibel Group’s know-how to create its Christmas coffrets. Tepor decorated the coffrets using thermoformed engraving, a difficult project due to the quantity of letters and, therefore, the molds. The result: a process that works with the material while complementing the world of couture. Cosfibel’s teams also met another challenge: to create a harmony of shades when the two elements of the pack are made of different materials: board base and shiny PS cover. Each coffret features an EDT and EDP plus a product.

HCT Produces Lancome’s ‘Jewel’

HCT France and HCT Metals worked closely with Lancome to produce what the design firm calls “one of the most challenging metal projects we have ever undertaken.” The extraordinary and limited edition “Lotus Splendor” case for Lancome’s autumn/winter color collection features a form inspired by the sacred lotus flower, and a color range influenced by the rich colors and textures of the Maharaja’s palaces and Indian heritage. The lotus head splits open to reveal three petals containing lip and eye products and a mini mirror. Each leaf hinges and clicks back neatly and seamlessly into the weighted base thanks to hidden magnetic closures.

Cosmopak has announced the availability of an exclusive post consumer recycled plastic material. In response to a demand for more environmentally friendly raw materials, Cosmopak and Closed Loop UK Ltd have entered into an exclusive supply agreement for the cosmetics industry. Closed Loop UK Ltd is the only UK producer of 100% British post consumer PP and PETG. Cosmopak intends to use this British PCR plastic in a new range of products for the industry. Cosmopak also supplies raw flake to designated bottle and jar molders on behalf of cosmetic clients.
